I'm not going to lie, baking is not my forte. Not at all. But when I came across these Sugar Cookies, I knew I had to make them. Don't they look yummy?
And of course since they came out so well, when I wasn't expecting them too, I wanted to blog it.

Ingredients:
720g flour.
3tsp baking powder.
480g butter.
400g sugar.
2 eggs.
2tsp vanilla extract.
1tsp salt.
And whatever you want to use for decorations. I was going to use glimmer sugar and icing but they were sweet enough so I skipped the icing.
Also I would recommend halving the ingredients if you're going to use this recipe. This made 1 tray of big cookies and 3 trays of the cookies the size of the ones in the post. But I live with males so they were soon demolished. ;)
Step1: Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

Step 2: Add eggs and vanilla. Mix well.

Step 3: Mix dry ingredients, adding a little bit at a time. Mix well.

Step 4: Chill the mixture in the fridge for 1-2 hours. I put them in for 2.

Step 5: Roll mixture into balls and cover in glimmer sugar.
Step 6: Place on a baking tray. Gas mark 4 for 8-10 minutes or until the edges start to brown.

They don't look as good as the ones I linked to. I couldn't find glimmer sugar bright enough but they tasted amazing.
You wanna cookie?!
Have you tried making these? Did you like them? What can I make next? :D
