M.A.C Haul.

This has been a long time coming. I was super excited for the Venomous Villains collection but it came out right before I got paid. Therefore I wasn't able to get most of what I wanted. Boo hiss. :( I haven't bought from M.A.C since April either so I think this is well deserved.

Please excuse the rather hideous photos, I took them as the sun was setting. Really not loving not being able to get photos in the afternoons now!

Here's what I got:

The M.A.C Viva Glam GaGa bag. I've been looking for a decent sized one to keep in a handbag and it's Lady GaGa too! How could I resist?

Truth & Light Magically Cool Liquid Powder. This stuff is truly magical and really quite weird! Love it though.

I'm So Vain mirror. I have a thing for LE M.A.C mirrors.

I also had to pick up the Viva Glam GaGa Lipglass. Absolutely love it. Don't forget you can win a Viva Glam Lipglass here. After lemming for an orange lippie after the post I did, I decided to pick up the Pro Longwear Lipcreme in Good To Go. Also love it. ;)

So that's my teeny tiny little haul. I shall do reviews and swatches of things as soon as I can.

Did you get any of these things? What did you think?

MHK - Week #2.

I feel like a bad blogger at the moment. I've been doing stupid overtime hours. Getting up at 6 to work on your day off, anyone? No? I thought not. The only reason I say yes is because I see £££, but when it comes down to working it I'm just like, why in the world did I say yes? So please forgive my partial Twitter and posting absence.

This is a little late as reason mentioned above. The end of last week and this week has been pretty good. I had a ton of fruit, strawberries, grapes etc. Which I just ate on their own. Love them. But now I have no money till I get paid so I'm not really able to get any. Don't you just hate that? But it means I'm not snacking on anything bad because I just don't have anything.

I tried these new yoghurts that came out quite recently because I love the Milkybar ones but they're a bit to sweet (and more then twice the calories)! They're very similar and great if you just want something to stop that chocolate craving. I'm not a fan of dairy yoghurts normally but these are yummy and also come in Caramel and Milk Choc.

I came home from work the other day and was pretty much dead. I'd been so busy and I was super tired so really not in the mood to cook a big meal so I came up with this. One of those part bake bread rolls with 2 meat free hot dogs and red onions, with a little too much tomato sauce. Was delish. Shame I don't have any more of these hot dogs.

Then this evening my Dad made an amazing home made apple crumble with home grown apples. The topping was a cheat but sssh. ;) I felt like I was allowed it since I haven't had a proper dessert for ages.

That's my second week down and I'm not feeling as good as last week but I'm still determined. I just want to get paid again so I can buy a whole bunch of fruit and veg.

How did you do this week?

Lots Of Little Updates.

I thought I'd just do a quick post with lots of little things I've been meaning to post about. I figured it'd be easier just to do them all in one post.

Twitter.
If you don't already follow me, why not?! Haha JK! ;) Hop on over and request to follow me. I'm trying to follow as many people as I can back. I used to be really bad at not doing so but I've changed my ways.

Yes, I do tweet lots but I will reply if you pop me an @reply. Coz I'm nice like that. ;)

Tumblr.
The place where I post inspiring and pretty picture and have a good old rant. It's linked to my Twitter but if you wanted to follow without clicking every single tweet link, you can add it to your subscriptions on Blogger and Google Reader!

Facebook.
I don't have a fan page and don't think I plan to get one in the near future. I have a fear if I did, I'd get 2 likes and that would be it.

But anyway, feel free to add me on my personal page. Unlike Twitter, I don't post all the time on there. :)

Competition.
I said I would do one if I got to 700. I think I may just do a teeny little giveaway and have a massive competition if/when I get to 1000. I never even though that would be possible so we shall see!

MHK.
I think I may possibly disable comments on these posts. A lot of you don't seem interested in commenting so instead of staring at 0 comments, which isn't a nice feeling, I may just not have anything there.

Ratings.
I used to have blog ratings, remember?

Well I've since taken them off. I put them there for people to give me quick feedback if they didn't want to comment and I understand not everyone will like every single post. But someone/a select few were abusing it and clicking the bad options on every single post.

If you don't like it, please unfollow as I'm not forcing you to read them. :)

That's about it for now though. Although I do want to say thank you to all my followers. Each and everyone of you, it's cliché but I do love you and I'm grateful for all the feedback and enjoyment you give back to me for doing this! :D

MHK - Week #1.

Heeey! I've decided to change my day for doing my weekly update type thing. I had said I was going to do it on Tuesday but I find I don't really get on till late evening so I'm going to do it on Thursdays instead. Hopefully I can stick to that. :)

This past week I've ate a lot better, I know that. The only thing I'm having trouble with right now is calorie counting. -_- It will be fine for a few days but then I'll be over and I start obsessing over it and try and start again the next day. But then it happens a few days down the line. Ack. An actual nightmare because I then feel like I've failed.

So at the moment I'm not strictly calorie counting. I am of course keeping an eye on what I eat. I'm snacking less, drinking more water and having smaller portions. Also where I can, trying to eat breakfast. I know it's really bad that I don't but I hate eating that early.

I was off work all last week as I was ill and the day before I went back I decided to do a little work out on this stupid ass walker we have upstairs. I wanted to try and do at least an hour on it but since I haven't done so in forever, I just did half. I knew I would pay for it on Thursday. Standing up all day with the worst leg aches in the world is not cool.

I thought each week I'd also add a few pictures of things I've had. I didn't think it would be much interest too most people since I don't eat meat but thought I'd do it for anyone that's interested. :)

Sweet and sour Quorn beef with noodles. Absolutely amazing. <3 It looked so much nicer IRL and tasted even better.

A bit of a naughty. A Sainsbury's TTD Pain Au Chocolat. I don't usually eat croissants and things like that but these I love! So it's just a little treat I have once every couple of months. :)

That's all I've got for you this week! I haven't had much else interesting to eat and because my sleeping pattern is all jacked up. (Surprise!) I haven't been eating properly. :(

How have you done this week? Tell me about the things you've been doing/eating?

Also minor little note - I feel like I've been neglecting my more blog a little bit so I shall be making up for it in the next few days. Sorry about that guys! :(

Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub.

I already reviewd another one of these when they came out in February - Mint Julips.

But now we have Bubblegum!

What www.lush.com says:
The bubblegum-candy scrub.

This one will make your lips smell like our best-selling Snow Fairy shower gel. Bubblegum is made with exfoliating castor sugar and our delicious vegan flavour to gently scrub away rough skin, keeping your lips smooth and kissably soft with the help of jojoba oil.

I knew as soon as these came out it wouldn't be long before I got this one. I absolutely love Snow Fairy, which is back! Oh yes. It is back for Christmas but that's another post for another time.

I know it's basically glorified sugar but I really cannot be bothered with faffing about trying to make my own. Plus it wouldn't smell as delicious. ;)

If you like sweet smelling things then this is for you, if you don't I suggest you stay well away.

If you ever had the pleasure of catching a whiff of Snow Fairy then this is exactly how this smells. Very sweet, candy floss and bubblegum-y scent. I noticed last year it seems to have a love/hate view in the blogging community. I personally love it.

Does it do the job? Well of course! It leaves my lips super smooth and it tastes delicious when you lick it off. Maybe a slight too sweet, if that's even possible?! But yummy nonetheless.

They have a new sherbet one out for Christmas. Shall definetly be picking that one up.

Have you tried these or have you found a cheaper alternative? Let me know.

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil - Lust.

Thank you Blogger for delaying my post! I had planned on posting this earlier but noooo. Blogger's having issues with it's image uploader so hopefully, temporarily I've done them through TinyPic.

I have another 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil review for you though. I've already done ones on Honey and Deviant. So you can check those out by clicking the links. I'm slowly but surely making my way through all the ones I have. There's a fair few.

What www.urbandecay.com says:
The best Eye Pencil ever, ever, ever! Never before has a pencil this creamy and brilliant been waterproof, too. Velvety-soft, this never-before-seen formula stays soft and creamy for blending (about 30 seconds), then dries down to a long-lasting finish that WILL NOT budge. Line eyes with a hint of color or go for the full artistic, multi-hued effect with the wide selection of lush tropical hues, deep metallics and unusually vibrant neutrals. Incredible with Urban Decay Eyeshadows!

Created with 50% moisturizing ingredients suspended in a sophisticated waterproof formula, 24/7 Eye Pencils offer long-lasting color and a dreamy, creamy feel when applied. With Jojoba Oil, Vitamin E and Cottonseed Oil.

Tips: 24/7 Eye Pencils are ideal for lining inner lids because the waterproof formula stays put. Just apply, try not to blink for a sec, and you’ve got immovable liner.

An amazingly deep rich purple with teeny tiny silver glitter. But of course it photographs blue, or blurple. Whichever way you want to look at it! Think Cadbury's but a little deeper.

You can see this in action, as it were, in an overly purple EOTD I did here.

Now onto the pencil itself. One of my favourite colours to wear on my eyes is purple and this is love! It's got the right mixture of being bright but still being wearable at the same time. It's not overly dark so it fits well in the look I used it in.

I love using this along the waterline to brighten up a look or as a base for a purple shadow that takes a lot of work to get opaque.

These pencils are really versatile which is what I love about them. I have quite the collection at the moment and I still want more. ;) But with the ever expanding range that Urban Decay have there really is something for everyone.

How would you wear this? What are some of your favourite coloured liners?

Also big thanks to the few people that helped me on Twitter a couple of days ago with getting to 700 followers. Seven hundred?! Craziness. But I shall be holding a competition just as soon as I've gathered all the prizes up.
