Lush Sex Bomb Bath Ballistic.

What www.lush.com says:
Contains jasmine absolute, one of Mother Nature’s most potent and seductive aphrodisiacs.

Jasmine, clary sage and ylang ylang to make you feel like a lover. The power of these aphrodisiac oils lies in their ability to relax you at the same time as warming your heart and other body parts. The ancient perfumers of the Mediterranean knew a thing or two about lurve and we're using the methods they used thousands of years ago for the same results.

A somewhat Lush 'cult' product. Why? Well that I really don't know. That's part of the reason I bought it, to see what all the fuss was about and it's kinda pretty with the flower and everything, right?

It has a very strong smell to it, quite hard to describe but I didn't find it to be overpowering. It wasn't like anything I'd had before from Lush (or anywhere else).

I also like the novelty of coloured bath water, I'm not even going to lie about it. It makes me feel childish, which is a good thing since I'm starting to feel old. (22 soon!) :(

There is just one gripe I really really didn't like. It has a cute little flower in it made of rice paper, I didn't know what it was made of till after I used this so I popped this in and noticed something still floating around on top after the rest of the Ballistic had disintegrated.

So I scooped it out because I don't really like things like that floating around in the bath with me ...

EURGH! Horrible mushy papery stuff! I actually checked reviews for this and there's a fair balance that say it dissolved and others saying it didn't. It feels really horrible. All slimey and just the thought of it is making me cringe.

I do love Lush and the flower is a nice touch but when it's left floating around that's where I draw the line.

If you can cope with a slug like flower then this is actually a really nice scented Ballistic and it lingers on the skin and in the bathroom for quote sometime after.

Have you tried this? What did you think? Do you think it's worth of it's 'cult' status?

Eyeko Fat Balm - Toffee.

Just a quick note before I get into this review. My Viva Glam competition is now closed. I shall be checking all entries within the next week or two as I'm busy busy doing lots of overtime. I'll get back to with you winners and whatnot asap.

Not too long ago Eyeko held a birthday event and were giving out goody bags. Unfortunetly I couldn't make it but I unexpectedly received a few bits in the post a week or so later, and this was my favourite thing that I got.

What www.eyeko.com says:
Does My Balm Look Big In This? Cult classic Eyeko Fat Balm is back and better than ever!
Limited Edition!!!

Slicks of juicy colour, infused with light reflecting particles, moisturising Jojoba oil and added SPF15 make for fuller, softer, sexier lips. Add a hint of colour and shine as you protect and hydrate your kisser! Dab on to cheeks to for a touch of blush. Mineral oil and lanolin FREE!

Now available in 3 fruity shades and 3 candy-licious hues in new look limited edition packaging.

Eyeko Toffee Fat Balm:
Creamy caramel for a polished nude lip look and incr-edible toffee scent-sation!

Honestly, not something I would have picked for myself. It looks too brown for my kind of nude and I'm really not feeling the grey packaging. They could have made it really pretty but failed to do so. Anyone else think so, or is that just me?

As soon as I tried this I fell in love. It isn't super pigmented but it's definitely MLBB colour! It's a nude for me without looking like I'm wearing anything.

I did a couple of lip swatches. First ones on here, so be nice. ;) Let me know if they're alright?! They're no Temptalia but still ...

Overcast-ish:

Direct sunlight:

I've yet to try it on my cheeks but on the lips it glides on really smoothly and leaves them smooth and soft. It lasts for quite a while and keeps them looking slightly shiny.

As I said earlier, the only two minor things that I don't like so much is the grey packaging and the scent isn't really that toffee-y. It smells quite artificial but I can cope with it since it looks so nice on.

Other than that, LOVE! Would totally reccommend and I hopefully plan to get a few more (hello Frosting!) before they go away again.

Have you tried any of them? What did you think? Have you tried them on your cheeks? Let me know your thoughts.

My 'No Makeup' Makeup.

I know I've been a bad blogger these last few weeks, I'm not going to sit and make excuses. Just had other things on my mind. Anyway, I'm still here and still blogging. :)

It's a rare occurrence that my face will grace this blog for a FOTD but I wanted to show you something I've been 'rocking' for the past couple of weeks. I've kind of lost inspiration with colour for the moment. Hopefully it will come back soon.

Face:
Cellnique Intensive Hydrating Oasis Gel.
Illamasqua Matte Primer.
M.A.C Studio Finish Concealer - NW15.
M.A.C Studio Fix Fluid - NW15.
Eyeko Cream - Extra Glow (highlight). (LE)
M.A.C Magically Cool Liquid Powder - Truth & Light (highlight). (LE)

Eyes:
M.A.C Fast Response Eye Cream.
Dior Blackout Mascara.

Lips:
Clarins Crystal Lipbalm - Crystal Clear.
Eyeko Fat Balm - Toffee. (LE)

Quick and easy. I just switch the lip colour up every time I wear it. I usually wear a lipstick with this look as it looks more 'no makeup'-y and has longer staying power if you just blot it on with a lip brush.

What do you think? What's your take on a 'no makeup' makeup look?

And I just wanted to show you this tshirt I received today because it is amazing! It's from a company called Badly Drawn and I absolutely love them.

Alriii' Stace? Gotta love me some Gavin and Stacey! :)

That's all for today, should have more posts for you in the week.

And don't forget if you haven't already, you've got till Wednesday to enter my giveaway so get on it if you haven't yet.

Busy Busy Busy!

I feel absolutely terrible that this past week I've 'semi abandoned' this. I've literally been so busy working. Damn overtime! And trying to do a bunch of other things, I've not had much time to think about blogging or even being on Twitter which is a rarity.

I just wanted to let you all know that I am still here but I've got a ton of things I need to sort out at the moment, but I'll be blogging when I can.

Will you be less mad if I gave you each a present?

Yes?

Ok ...

Enjoy. ;)
