I feel like I'm cheating you here slightly but never mind!
I'm sure you've seen my new Twitter picture. Well it wasn't taken for that, it was originally meant for this but I couldn't wait to change it on there so yeah. ;) Pretend you haven't already seen it.
I didn't sleep on Wednesday night so I decided to go with something that meant as little eye makeup as possible.
I love red lips. I already posted about a Revlon red here. I have 3 red lippies in total. This Revlon, True Red Colorburst and M.A.C's Russian Red. Out of all of them I prefer the Revlon finishes the most. They have the right balance of 'slip' and matte to them. I find Russian Red notoriously hard to apply. I have to say True Red is my absolute favourite, I find the colour a little on the cooler side and so it's slightly deeper.
Fire & Ice is still wonderful though and applies like a dream.

This was the first time I braved in wearing bright red lips outside of the house. I got many, many compliments so that's always good.
What do you think? Do you like red lips? Or do you prefer more coral/deeper reds? Let me know your opinions on them!

ReplyDelete@Jess Thank you! It applies dead easy, I just line my lips with a brush then fill it in straight from the bullet. Much prefer bright ones though and ta about the layout! :D

ReplyDelete@Steph Thank you. And no way, I don't think you would. You just have to find the right kind of shade. Bright red is a bit scary I know but something maybe coral-y would suit you I reckon!
