Ohmygosh. Eeeeeeee.

I have been waiting forever for this to come out. As soon as I started reading the books - which granted was late last year, I was hooked and desperate to see it.

Release date is March 23rd. So imagine my surprise when I see our local cinema is holding an advanced screening on Thursday evening!

I borrowed some £'s from Mumma and went and got my tickets earlier.

Super excited to see but I already feel let down because of the cut for the age restriction.

The film has been rated 12A by the BBFC in the UK for "intense threat, moderate violence and occasional gory moments". To achieve that rating, Lionsgate had to cut or substitute seven seconds of film by "digitally removing blood splashes and the sight of blood on wounds and weapons". - From the Wiki movie page.

Why are they still marketing this to kids?!

Kids killing kids is not something I'd want to see when I was 12 or under.

Either way, I really hope it's as good as I imagine considering Suzanne Collins (author) adapted the script from book to film herself.

I don't usually get in early to see films but I refuse to see any spoilers on this. I already saw some as I was reading the books so that sucked that I knew what was going to happen before I even got to the end.

Anyone else excited to see it?

May the odds be ever in your favour ...
