Something I never knew until a while into when I started blogging was that exfoliating your lips can prevent them from getting chapped. A regular facial exfoliator, for me personally doesn't cut it.

Whilst it can be cheaper to make your own, Lush do convenient little pots of scrubby sugary goodness.

What www.lush.co.uk says:
The pink all things girly, bubblegum flavour lip scrub. Clears dead skin and flakiness from lips, leaving them moisturised and smooth.

Our lip scrubs are made from castor sugar to act as a gentle scrub and jojoba oil to be wonderfully moisturising but light enough not to leave you feeling greasy.

Keeps lips in tip top condition, for kissing, pouting, talking or anything else you wish to do with them.

Provides a great base for lipstick, which looks much better on smooth prepared lips.

After much work, they discovered that the exact right size of sugar grain could provide a gentle safe scrub and taste yummy too – especially when combined with a lovely flavour.

The reason I picked this up was because it's scented with my most favourite Lush scent - Snow Fairy. Yummy!

With these I find you only need the tiniest amount. Instead of scooping some of the product out, I find just dabbing my finger in and using whatever's stuck to it means you don't use too much product. But you still a get a good amount to exfoliate with.

Once you've done with rubbing it into your lips you just lick it off and you're done. After application my lips are super smooth but I apply a touch of lip balm to make them really hydrated. Then you have the perfect base for those lipsticks that cling to your lips.

For just over £5 these are deemed as expensive for a pot of sugar but I would really rather buy one, than have to have the fuss and mess of trying to make my own.

These come in a 2 other flavours including mint (Mint Julips) and chocolate (Sweet Lips). They also have a Christmas limited edition Popcorn lip scrub that's flavoured with salted caramel.
