Quite some time ago I'd read that they'd be releasing the Electro line. I was pretty excited as I love love love Baby Lips. I find they're a lighter lip balm. In the sense that at night I slather a little bit of original Carmex on my lips, but I find it a bit heavy for the daytime. That's where Baby Lips come in.

There are 6 shades in the lineup but for some reason I don't know, only 4 have been released in the UK. The 3 I picked up and an orange shade called Oh Orange. They failed to bring the lime, Minty Sheer and the yellow, Fierce N Tangy. Which I was a little bit disappointed by. The colours are sheer so it seems silly that they wouldn't release them.

The shades I did manage to get my hands on are Strike A Rose - coral pink, Berry Bomb - blue purple and Pink Shock - hot pink.

First up, I love the packaging of these. The neon writing is offset with the black tube which really makes it stand out. Nothing too fancy but I happen to really like it.
All the Baby Lips come with a fruity scent which is pretty inoffensive.

As for the colours, the purple is the sheerest out of the 3, with just the lightest hint of colour. The pinks have quite a bit more colour. When swatched Strike A Rose is quite a nice rosey nude colour, without being too pale. Whilst Pink Shock is a little deeper in colour whilst still being quite a nice, bright pink.
Again, these aren't lip colours they're balms. But they do come with a hint of colour that I do find is buildable.

Overall, I love Baby Lips for the daytime. The great price point means if I happen to misplace it, it's not going to bother me too much. It was nice to have the Electro collection alongside the original 6 we had last year, it's just a shame we didn't get all 6. Hopefully they send some of the other ones our way.
