Maybelline Baby Lips Dr Rescue.

It's been a little long while since I last sat down and wrote a post. I won't bore with you the details as to why but I think I'm ready to start writing again. I come armed with a ton of photos and new products to review for you.

Following on from my last post I thought I'd post about some new Baby Lips. The Dr Rescue collection, it claims to be more moisturising than the originals.

What says:
No more basic lip balm
Medicated care + 12 HR hydration
Soothes quickly with a hint of eucalyptus.
Cools sore lips with a touch of icy menthol
In 6 (4 in the UK) new natural tints to even out lip tone for healthier-looking lips.

Why you'll love it:
Medicated care soothes sore lips and combats dryness
In 6 new natural tints
In 1 minute, lips feel soothed
In 1 day, lips look more smooth
In 1 week, lips are renewed.

I was keen to see how these compared to the original line up. I love their ease of use (no fingers in pots here!) and their price point makes it perfect for keeping on me at work.

Too Cool is a colourless balm. Just Peachy has the most colour payoff and is a really pretty nude. Coral Crave is the one with the least colour, it has only the slightest tint. Pink Me Up has a slight bright pink tint. The colours are only very minimal, nothing too in your face. They all come with a fresh menthol scent.

I do find these a little thicker and have a little less slip than the originals. I do feel they are slightly more moisturising though I'm not sure I believe the claims in renewed lips. I adore the fresh scent and the very slight tingle.

I love the Baby Lips formula, it's very light for daytime wear and they're fairly cheap. I always pick them up when they're on 3 for 2. They're usually on some kind of offer so definitely check them out.
