There was once a time when beauty boxes were all the rage but that seems to have died down now. I've only ever tried Glossybox, which I'm sent for review purposes.
I watched a couple of review on the newest My Little Box, which is inspired by Wonder Woman (love!). Before I knew it, I was on the website entering my card details for my first box.
Kérastase - Cristaliste Lait Cristal Luminous Perfecting Conditioner
£18.50 / 200mlI've not had a chance to try this yet but I love that it's paraben and silicone free. Apparently this helps with rebalancing the hairs fiber, whilst softening the hair and improving natural shine.
It's quite a pricey conditioner so I'm curious to see how it leaves my hair.
My Little Beauty - Lip & Cheek Crayon
Each box contains a brand new product from the in-house brand - My Little Beauty. This month it's a lip and cheek pencil. I've only tried it on the lips but it's definitely a colour that's fitting now the sun is making more of a regular appearance. It doesn't come with a shade name but it's a nice peachy coral, that isn't too bright.
Caudalie - Hand & Nail Cream
£12 / 75ml
Caudalie is a brand I've had in many Glossyboxes and I've loved everything I've tried. This is no exception. It's a super light formula which smells amazing, possibly down to the fact it contains orange pulp. It has a really zingy, fresh scent. It also contains organic fair trade shea butter, avocado and olive oil. All for their nourishing properties.
Though the formula is thin, it sinks in really quickly and leaves behind super soft hands. This sample size is going straight in my bag.
These stickers are so cute! With slogans such as 'be your own hero' and 'you're not born Wonder Woman, you become it'. They've really followed on with the Wonder Woman theme and tied everything in together nicely.
Gat Rimon x My Little Box T-Shirt
The shirt, along with 2 other versions. Both of which I love, are available in the Gat Rimon eshop.
My Little World Magazine
In this 65 page magazine, they manage to fit in everything from photoshoots, to interviews with a range of people who do different things such as makeup artistry and photography. There's even interviews with bloggers and having a little nosey into their wardrobe. Not forgetting nail and hair tutorials, and an advice column. Finished off with a couple of recipes, all for good measure.
One of my favourite features is called 'Instabox' in which they showcase, what they call 'the best of Instagram'. It's a great feature to find new people to follow, that you maybe haven't heard of before.
I might as well get straight to the point, I absolutely love this box. The theme carries on throughout, rather than just being a design on the outside and having no correlation with the contents.
I really feel like a lot of thought has gone into each item. Even though there's fewer items than most monthly subscriptions boxes, the sizes are more generous and things aren't just put in there (perfume samples, minute sachets of shampoo etc) to make it up to the specified item amount.
Even down to the way the t-shirt was rolled in superhero themed wrapping paper and the little pouch that holds the beauty products.
I'm already excited about my next box, so we'll see if I'm still raving about it next month!
£11 (plus p&p) per month
