Glossybox - July.

I feel like I need to preface this post by saying how are we in July already? I realised a couple of days ago that I was still writing '6' as the month at work - oh dear! I'm clearly a little bit behind.

As I previously stated in my last Glossybox post, they used to dispatch the boxes in the later part of the month but it seems they're posting them out earlier, which is always a bonus.

July brings us all things french with the 'Vive La France' box*.

Glossybox - Exclusive Travel Pouch
When I first opened up my box I was happily greeted by this delightful bag. I absolutely love it though the more I look at it the more it reminds me of the Evil Beldam from Coraline. I think it's the cheekbones.
Either way I think it's super cute, I love that it's somewhat transparent and seems like if anything leaked in it, it would be a breeze to clean.

Vichy - Aqualia Thermal Light Cream
£17 / 50ml
I've only ever tried Vichy skincare through samples but it's constantly raved about by many bloggers.
This cream is perfect for sensitive skin. It's enriched with Vichy thermal spa water and hyaluronic acid. It doesn't contain parabens. It's a really light texture that sinks in quickly and leaves a velvety texture to the skin.

Noxi Doxi - Enhancing Serum Base
£33.46 / 30ml
This is a base best used underneath moisturiser. It's a thin formula that is easily absorbed. It claims to hydrate the skin's surface as well as the deeper layers. Whilst containing a cocktail of antioxidants and anti-inflammatories that really help to protect the skin.

Teoxane Cosmeceuticals - Perfect Skin Refiner
£70 / 50ml
I wasn't that struck on this but when I read what it actually did I couldn't wait to try it. It's a moisturiser for the evening. It contains hyaluronic acid along with 10% glycolic acid which helps resurface the skin. That's the same amount of acid that's in the infamous Alpha H Liquid Gold. The scent reminds me somewhat of male cologne. It's not too heavy but it's quite noticeable upon first application. Really excited to see how this fares.

Lollipops - Délicieuse Lip Balm
£4.15 / 10ml
I absolutely love this. It comes with a plastic slant applicator. The formula smells slightly like vanilla, it's not too sweet or too artificial. A nice subtle fragrance. It protects against UV damage and contains vitamin E. It's a light, creamy formula that gives a slight clear gloss to the lips whilst being really moisturising.

As soon as the mailman handed me the blue and white box (usually black and white), I couldn't wait to rip it open. The illustrations on the box are absolutely amazing. Drawn by the amazing illustrator Jamie Lee Reardin.

I've been a feeling a little bit meh about Glossybox and the way it carries the theme through to the box and products. But I feel like they really pulled this one out of the bag, especially with the addition of the original artwork on the makeup bag.

This is the first box in a long time that I've got really excited about. It definitely focuses more on the skin care side of things, bringing us french brands I'd not heard of besides Vichy.

I'm extremely happy with this months selection of products and theme and cross my fingers that Glossybox continue with better boxes like this one.
