Lush Key Lime Pie Lip Balm.

There's something about lime scents that are just so delightfully refreshing. When I saw this new addition to the Lush line up, I just had to pick it up.

Lush decided to opt for a vegan option when mixing up the ingredients for this, replacing the beeswax with more moisturising oils. This leads to a less waxy formula, instead it's thin and has more slip to it.

Containing nourishing oils such as almond, coconut, jojoba, argan and lime. This does mean it has a more oily feel to it though not uncomfortably so. Because it's a lighter formula it doesn't last as long on the lips as more waxy balms such as Honey Trap. It leaves my lips feeling smooth and hydrated.

As for the scent? Lush have totally nailed the authentic American dish. It's fresh, fruity and full of citrusy zing with a hint of sweetness. It also tastes yummy too, though I don't recommend consuming it.

I don't usually opt for potted balms due to them being unhygienic. But this is something I'm so glad I picked up.
