Shake It Off.

I think it's more than well documented in the blogging community that it's changed massively in the last few years. Everything has become more polished and pristine, almost magazine-like. But with that comes a need for perfection. People don't tend to post about the bad things at all, it's like they don't exist.

I decided to take a little much-needed break away from it all, I barely caught up on my subscriptions. Instead, throwing myself into working and trying to improve myself both physically and mentally.

So what have I been doing whilst I was away?

I restarted Slimming World (finally) and am teetering on the edge of having lost 1.5 stone.

I went to Lush Oxford Street on more than one occasion and could quite happily have got lost in there. I took so many photos for an upcoming post it's hard to narrow them down.

I visited Winter Wonderland in London's Hyde Park for the first time and it was truly wonderful. Got me in the festive spirit and I cannot wait for Christmas. Along with that I've started present shopping, it's just the wrapping I hate.

I've spent days out with unexpected work friends, eating good food and laughing harder than I have in ages. That can only be a good thing.

I jazzed up my page, made it a little more me and opted for a festive colour scheme. Which has totally made me want to blog lots now I have a layout I love.

Over the past few weeks it really feels like I've hardly had any time to myself to just relax. I've been here, there and everywhere. Other than feeling like I'm in a permanent state of exhaustion, things are finally looking up. Thank you for those who continue to stick around.
