Lush Oxford Street - Ground Floor.

This post has been a long time coming, hence the addition of the Christmas lines sprinkled through the photographs. My bad! But who doesn't love lusting over Lush photos, honestly?

Plus the ground floor is a bit of a myriad of all things and I've been wondering how best to tackle it. Especially as I didn't take photos of everything. Like the hair section and basins where you can have your hair treated with a conditioning treatment or perhaps even a henna colour.

Towards the back of the shop, you'll find a wall of soaps, coming in all shapes, colours and scents. Stacked high with all sorts of eye-catching designs, there's definitely something for everyone. You can always pick up a presliced piece or have one of the sales assistants cut you a piece that's the perfect size for you.

Moving round from that you'll find a corner full of everything you could possibly need for your shower. Roulades, smoothies, jellies and butters all sound like a range of delicious desserts. Alongside gels, conditioners and scrubs. Everything you need from start to finish. There's also a freezer full of shower jellies, as well as being able to buy them in their usual wibbly wobbly state.

What takes up most of the ground floor is the sheer amount of skin care on offer, so much so it's split into two sections. One as you go in and another further towards the back of the shop.

Here you can find a small selection of their cold pressed soaps or 'manly' soaps as I call them, nestled next to a wall of cleansers, toners, moisturisers and scrubs. The black pots line the walls, giving you an array of different ingredients to help with whatever skin ailments you have. You'll also find a large selection of their fresh face masks.

One of Oxford Street's newer inventions is the mouthwash tabs. First, there were the toothy tabs and toothpaste powders so it only seems right that they offer a mouthwash counterpart.

It's also home to the sugary sweet lip scrubs and colourful selections of lip balms, both potted and stick form.

I think one of the main things people were most excited for when Oxford Street opened its doors was the revamped makeup line. As always Lush try to bring out innovative new things like their solid lipstick and eyeshadow blocks.

In their current lineup, you'll find face powders, blushers, colour supplements and skin tints. Brow products, mascaras, eyeliners, loose eyeshadows as well as creams. Along with a whole host of lipsticks ranging from deep purples and pinks, all the way through to striking reds and everyday nudes.

If there's still not something that takes you fancy, I'm sure you'll find that if you a take a wander upstairs on to the first floor. I'll get a post up on that sooner rather than later, promise!
