Glossybox - July.

It's been a hot minute since I've done a Glossybox post or even a post at all. I alluded to why very briefly in this post. Perhaps I'll elaborate on it more eventually. Who knows?

For July we have the 'hello summer' themed box*. They've treated us to a mix of travel-friendly sizes, four of which are full size. I was expecting the usual pale pink box but upon opening was pleasantly surprised to be greeted with this coral and gold beauty.

Bellapierre Cosmetics - Banana Setting Powder {full size}
£25 / 4g
Banana powder is something that really took off thanks to Kim Kardashian and her contour routine. It's best used to bake over a thick, creamy concealer and then brush away any excess. The yellow hue helps counteract redness, discoloration, blemishes and dark circles on fairer skin. If you have olive or dark skin it's perfect for using as a highlight. I'm quite curious to try this as I've never used anything other than translucent or very fair powder to set.

Spectrum Collections - A10 - Small Fan Brush {full size}
Perfect for brushing away excess powder, such as the one mentioned above or applying highlighter. It gives you more control over where you apply it and gives you the ability to build it up rather than going straight in with too much. I've tried a Spectrum brush in the past and the quality is really good, very soft and they're products are a good price.

Monu Professional Skincare - MonuSpa Soothing After Sun Lotion
£19.95 / 180ml
I was not made for the heat, that much is true. So I'm always in need of SPF and after sun products. After spending time in the sun I nearly always suffer from prickly heat. This includes aloe vera which has soothing and healing properties. Vitamin E to calm inflammation. Cocoa butter to nourish and moisturise the skin. Shea butter to protect and hydrate. It contains grapefruit and lemongrass oil which give it a light citrusy scent. The lotion is light and cooling on the skin, it sinks in quickly and doesn't leave behind any residue.

Cute Balms - Macaroon Tint Balm - Crushed Berry {full size}
£5.99 / 5g
I'm usually not a fan of potted balms as they're significantly less hygienic than their tube counterparts. How cute is the little macaron packaging though? It could quite have easily been a plain potted balm but it stands out against those. It feels light on the lips and gives a healthy rosy glow.

Papanga - Spiral Hairbands {full size}
These remind me of a larger version of the Invisibobble which I adored when my hair was longer. These seem especially great for thick hair. I've no use for these now since I have barely any hair so I shall be passing these on to someone who will get better use out of them.
